Sculpture by the Lakes – Chef vacancy

Position: Senior Chef de Partie or Junior sous

The Kitchen at Sculpture by the Lakes are looking for a keen chef to join our small kitchen team.

The ideal person would have an obvious passion for food and be of a senior Chef de Partie/Junior Sous standard, with a minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification.

More importantly we’d love to have someone who is genuinely passionate about food, positive and with a flexible attitude. We value all this as much as a long list of kitchens that you have worked in! Though no bad thing.

The Cafe offers seasonal dishes using the finest local meats, fresh fish and vegetables largely from our own stunning Kitchen garden.

Details:

– Competitive hourly rate depending on experience, plus share of tips

– 40 Hour week

– 2 consecutive days off

– 28 days holiday

– Christmas and New Year off

– Daytime hours, some occasional evenings through the Spring/Summer working on some exciting outdoor cookery events.
